In the dust-free workshop of Huake New Materials in Nantong, Jiangsu, a fully automatic production line is spitting out light golden paste at a speed of 300 grams per minute. These seemingly ordinary sealants have just passed 72 rigorous tests of SMIC and become the first domestic sealant materials used in 14-nanometer chip packaging in China. This breakthrough marks that my country has successfully broken the 20-year technology monopoly of American and Japanese companies in the field of high-end electronic packaging.
