Characteristics of alcohol-type silicone glue (de-alcoholization type)
Curing mechanism:
Curing by releasing alcohol substances (such as methanol and ethanol) rather than acidic substances (such as acetic acid).
✅ Advantages: No corrosive acid mist, good compatibility with metals, glass, etc., and less odor.
⚠️ Risk point: The released alcohol solvent may cause corrosion to PC.

Ingredient composition:

The base polymer (silicone resin) itself is relatively inert to PC.

Key risks are:

Curing byproducts (alcohol): May contact the PC surface during volatilization.

Additives or residual solvents: Some products may contain a small amount of other solvents (such as acetone, toluene) to improve construction properties, which are more harmful to PC.
