How long does MS sealant cure in an environment with 70% humidity?

In an environment with 70% humidity, the curing time of MS sealant depends primarily on temperature; 70% humidity itself has relatively little effect on the curing time.

According to the technical data of some MS sealant products, the curing time is typically 3-14 days at a humidity of 50±5% and a temperature of 23±2°C. When the humidity increases to 70%, if the temperature remains around 23°C, the curing time may decrease slightly, but generally not significantly, and will likely remain within the 3-14 day range.

Higher temperatures, such as 35-40°C, accelerate the curing of MS sealant. At 70% humidity, the full curing time may be shortened from approximately 48 hours at room temperature to 24-30 hours. If the temperature is lower, such as below 15°C, curing will be delayed. At a humidity of 70%, the full curing time may be extended from 48 hours at room temperature to more than 72 hours.
