PU Foam Curing and Trimming

PU Foam Curing and Trimming
Waiting for Curing:

Allow the sprayed foam to cure and expand naturally. Tack drying (a non-sticky surface crust) typically takes 10-30 minutes, but full curing (hardening the interior to its final strength) takes approximately 24 hours (depending on temperature and humidity).

Do not touch or squeeze the foam during the curing process, as this will affect expansion and the final result.

Trimming Excess Foam:

After the foam has fully cured (at least several hours, preferably 24 hours), use a sharp utility knife or saw to carefully trim any foam that extends beyond the gap, affects the aesthetics, or affects subsequent installations (such as door and window frames).

Be careful when cutting to avoid scratching.
