Emergency repair: quick solution to water and air leaks
Don’t panic if there is a sudden leak! Temporary repair plan:
Small cracks (<2mm):
Wipe the surface dry and blow hot air from a hair dryer to the cracks;
Inject quick-drying butyl glue (cures in 30 minutes).
Large gaps (>5mm):
Insert water-swelling waterstop strips;
Cover the surface with waterproof tape.
Note: The seal must be completely redone within 72 hours after the emergency!
