Low modulus and high elasticity sealant solves the problem of concrete joints
Keywords: concrete joint sealing, elastic recovery rate, silane-modified polyurethane
In response to the sealing failure caused by deformation of concrete joints, the new low modulus silicone-modified polyurethane sealant has achieved breakthroughs through two innovations:
Molecular chain modification: Introducing low molecular weight end-hydroxyl polydimethylsiloxane (molecular weight 200~500) to enhance chain flexibility and elastic recovery rate > 95%;
Filler optimization: Silane-modified nano-calcium carbonate increases physical cross-linking points and reduces molecular chain slippage.
Application cases show that it has no bulging or cracking after 10 years of use in bridge expansion joints and precast concrete structures, greatly reducing maintenance costs
